Panic attacks and anxiety can affect your life in different ways. The memory of an upsetting incident might trigger a panic attack and a feeling of anxiety. Panic attacks can make you feel entirely out of control in your own body and can be a frightening experience. You might be feeling generally anxious without knowing why or how to cope with these feelings.

Hypnotherapy is very commonly used to treat phobias and anxiety. We work on improving your imagined personal boundaries, so that you feel completely safe and secure. You will practise visualisation of a familiar safe place so that you can increase your awareness of your own security and safety. You will learn techniques that you can practise to feel in control of your positive and negative thoughts. You will also discover how to recognise your triggers for anxiety and how to manage them most effectively. We may also look at why you are feeling anxious and what you can do differently in the future to feel more positive in these certain situations. Most importantly, we work on learning how to relax deeply. Hypnotherapy sessions for phobias and anxiety last for one hour and cost £60. Clients are usually successfully treated within 3-5 sessions.
